Below are the intermediate stops and final destination for today's guided photo walk.

The route combines creative exploration with a relaxed group pace. We will make four strategic re-grouping stops before reaching the waterfront. These pauses allow time to photograph key visual highlights and gather everyone back together after navigating narrow old-town alleyways and busy pedestrian streets.
📍 PAUSE 1: Plaza de San Cristóbal (Old Town Entrance)
Operational purpose: Initial gathering point to collect the group before entering the historic center.
Photographic interest: Transition between modern and historic architecture. Ideal for leading lines, candid street portraits, tourist signage, and cobblestone alleyway perspectives.
📍 PAUSE 2: Plaza del Abad Penalva & Concatedral de San Nicolás (Main Rest Stop)
Operational purpose: ~20-minute comfort break for restrooms in nearby cafes, cold drinks, and shade. Re-grouping takes place at the upper square.
Photographic interest: Excellent setting for street and architectural photography. Features high-contrast light and shadows, historic stonework textures, wooden portals, and varied street corners.

📍 PAUSE 3: Plaza de la Santísima Faz
Operational purpose: Brief 5 to 10-minute pause to re-group after exploring the cathedral alleyways.
Photographic interest: Dominated by iconic palm trees, dappled sunlight filtering through the fronds, traditional café terraces, and framed views toward the Basilica of Santa María.
📍 PAUSE 4: Plaza del Ayuntamiento
Operational purpose: Final architectural gathering before heading to the seafront, ensuring everyone exits the old town together.
Photographic interest: After passing through the Pasaje del Ayuntamiento stone arch, enjoy grand civic geometry, baroque arcades, symmetrical compositions, and dynamic light.
🏁 FINAL STOP & FREE PHOTOGRAPHY: Explanada de España
Shaded under the palm tree canopy of the Explanada (a safe, spacious area away from traffic), this final stop includes the official GROUP PHOTO and concludes the guided route.
Participants can then enjoy 15–20 minutes of free photography individually or in small groups:
- Explanada de España: Capture the iconic wave-pattern marble mosaic, palm trees, and promenade life.
- Seafront & Marina: Photograph the harbor basin, boats, reflections, and maritime atmosphere.
- Casino Pier: Walk along the breakwater toward Casino Mediterráneo for open coastal views.
- Postiguet Beach: Head to the sand and sea for coastal landscape compositions.
